Artist’s Statement
Painting is a powerful and eloquent visual language capable of expressing things not easily communicable in any
other way. The arrangement of elements line, mark, shape, texture and color in a shared space establishes a series
of relationships that stand as metaphors for realities that are emotive and transcendental.
The abstract non-objective work is derived from reconstruction of memories and intuition.
My desire is to communicate with the viewer in a manner that allows his or her own interpretation, feelings, and
experience to become a part of my work.
